Annie arbeitet seit über 15 Jahren leidenschaftlich mit Menschen, wobei ihre Bilder immer mehr zeigen als ein perfekt abgelichtetes, schönes Gesicht. Annie findet den Menschen hinter der Fassade, die Person hinter der Persona.

Annies Markenzeichen ist der ihr eigene fotografische Blick. Verträumt und emotional macht dieser ihre Porträts zu fantasievollen Kunstwerken, in denen die Wechselwirkung zwischen Mensch und Fiktion erkennbar wird. Ihre Sujets sind inszeniert, entführen in selten besuchte Sphären: Tagträume, Sehnsüchte, Märchen, aber auch Alpträume und Schauergeschichten. Immer im Fokus stehen die Vertrautheit zwischen Akteuren und Schauplätzen und die sich daraus ergebende vollendete Symbiose.

Annies bevorzugte Kulissen sind aussergewöhnlich, oft morbide. Alte Fabriken, verfallene Häuser, mystische Naturschauplätze – an Orten, denen das Skurrile, Obsolete, Geheimnisvolle anhaftet, macht sie sichtbar, was so oft verborgen bleibt: Gedanken, Gefühle, Schicksale. Emotionen, die durch den direkten, erzählerischen Blick ihrer Protagonisten in die Kamera intensiviert werden.

Annies Portfolio umfasst Shootings für Künstler, Bands und Modelabels sowie Videoproduktionen. Darüber hinaus hat sie fünf Bücher herausgegeben. „Wahre Märchen“ wurde als „Buch des Jahres 2008“ ausgezeichnet und war binnen kürzester Zeit ausverkauft. „Wahre Märchen II“ gewann 2015 den Jury Award bei der Role Play Convention Köln.

Annie is working very passionately with people for more than 20 years. She aims for more than just a beautifully photographed face. Annie is looking for the person behind the glamour, for the human being behind the persona.

Annie trademark photo art of a unique kind. Her photographic vision is dreamy and emotional, her portrait shots highly original. Reduced to their very essence, they provide insights on the relationship of humans to the world of fiction and vice versa. Her subjects are staged to build new identities: daydreams, desires, fairy tales… yet also nightmares.
A sense of familiarity between people and scenery – a sort of merging, a synergy.

Annies favorite backdrops are unique and often morbid locations: factories, dilapidated houses and mystic natural sceneries… places that breathe the air of the bizarre, the obsolete or of secrecy. She directs the eye to things that are often overlooked – thoughts, emotions, fate. This intention is amplified by the direct and narrative way the often female protagonists are instructed to look at the camera.

Annies Portfolio includes photoshoorints for artists, bands and fashion labels as well as video-production.
She published five books.
„Wahre Märchen“ was nominated as „Book of the year 2008“.„Wahre Märchen II“ won the Jury Award at Role Play Convention in Cologne i 2015.
